Want to improve your Cocoa Touch (iPhone and iPod) programming knowledge? Have questions about how to best use the tools (Interface Builder, Xcode, etc.)?

Get an overview of the iPhone SDK as quickly as possible by immersing yourself in our intensive one day iPhone development class. Let us guide you through the common pitfalls and road blocks and get you on the right track.

We'll start the day out building a basic application and get you comfortable with the tools. In the afternoon we'll have a custom workshop style class tailored to your interests and projects.  Topics we can cover include:

    * Xcode, Interface Builder, Objective-C
    * Cocoa Touch, (MVC) Model, View, Controller and Delegate patterns
    * iPhone tables, views and touch event handling
    * Using web content
    * Timers and animation

Tell me, what do you want to build?

Julio

iPad development is under NDA and will not be explicitly discussed in class.  However everything you learn about iPhone development will applicable.

PS. This class is best suited for people with some programming experience in a C like language with some basic familiarity with the SDK who are looking for help getting started in this exciting technology.

Attendees must bring a laptop with the iPhone SDK installed.

Lunch will be provided.

Class will run 9am-5pm SL Conference Centers at 352 7th Ave (& 30h St.) 16th floor.

There is a lot to learn and if you would like to get started before class (I suggest you do) consider reviewing these resources and bring lots of good questions.
